Discover the power of breath as your guide into deeper, safer, and more sustainable backbends. In this workshop, we’ll explore the anatomy of spinal extension, build strength and mobility in the shoulders and hips, and learn how to support the spine with core engagement and breath awareness. This workshop will help you move with greater clarity, confidence, understanding and ease into your backbends —one breath at a time.
Open to most levels, apart from complete beginners.

The Stillpoint: a yoga day retreat at Ballymaloe

October 5th 10.30am-4pm

“The light you are seeking has always been within.” – Rumi 


The Still Point day retreat has been designed to reconnect you with your breath, your body, and the beauty of the season.

We’ll begin with a dynamic morning vinyasa session to energise and focus the mind. The focus for the practice will be forward folds and twists, to keep us in sync with the inward nature of autumn.

The morning practice will be followed by a gentle walk through Ballymaloe’s expansive gardens and grounds.

After a delicious, light lunch prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients, you’ll be guided into a deeply restorative and relaxing yin yoga session for Autumn, offering deep release and reflection. This practice will also bolster your immunity for the darker cycle of the year.

This is your invitation to pause, breathe, and centre yourself in the still point of Autumn.
